Lucas at 1 month

Lucas turned one month old today! It's getting harder and harder to find time to get on the computer by myself -- especially to update with photos, so this blog is definitely suffering. Taking care of a toddler and an infant is challenging! I give so much credit to moms who have kids close in age. It really IS a full time job!

Anyway, this is short and sweet, just to put up a few pictures of Mr. Honey Bunny. Photos were taken today (photo above) or within the last couple of days.

 

At one month old, Lucas is still a big snuggle bunny! He naps a lot, but still wants to be held most of the time. When I hold him he still thinks that means he should be eating. He's getting a little milk belly and a double chin! Check out the picture of Zach and Lucas -- you can see his big tummy! He's so cute and I still love his cry.

Lucas still has that stubborn umbilical cord. It's hanging on by just a tad but won't let go. I'm determined to help it along this week! Because it's still on he's still just taking sponge baths, and I really want him to try his baby tub because I think he'll love it. He's getting more interactive now too and will "talk" to us a little bit and has a few facial expressions that at times look like smiles. I know it's early and it's probably gas, but I have seen him smile and it's adorable.

The kid still is a chameleon -- I can't tell who he looks like! Right now I can say he looks at times alternately like me, Emily, Kevin, Sandy, Alex, and Kylie. How's that for narrowing it down?

We've had some family visitors that I'd love to blog about, and some cool play dates and things going on that I'd also love to blog about, but as I said, time on the computer is short and rushed. I'll try to put more photos up when I can and will write when I can as well, but it might be few and far between. Don't give up on me though because this really is the easiest way to update everyone in one fell swoop on the goings on in our lives.

Oh! Should also quickly mention that Emily came home on Sunday (happy mother's day to me!) for the summer and is very enchanted by her newest little brother. He seems to like her too although he did try his hardest to breastfeed upon meeting her. Zach is over the moon that she's home as well and all over her. And of course I'm thrilled to have all of my babies home at once as well.

Anyway, happy 1 month birthday, Baby Lucas! We LOVE you! xoxoxo
